The first order of business is to wish all of the USNA  Alumni Association, Connecticut  Chapter members and their families a Happy and Holy Holiday Season.  Again, due to the timing for submission of Chapter news, details of the Connecticut USNA Candidate meeting held last month in Hartford, is unavailable at the time of this writing.  That news will be contained in next months Chapter news.

How about that NAVY football team!  At the time of this writing, I am still basking in the glow of the wins over Wake Forest and Air Force!  That gives us four wins on the year, which means that we only require two more wins to become Bowl eligible.  That would mean that we could continue NAVY’s ongoing streak of post-season play.  We should all hope that  two wins are over Notre Dame and Army, but any two wins will do for purposes of post-season play!  Taking a look at the rest of NAVY’s schedule, I predict three more wins, hopefully  including the two over Notre Dame and Army (HELLO Commander –in Chief’s trophy!)
